In 1986, William "Billy" Stellmach opened his doors as Statewide Mechanical in a small shop in Rahway, NJ servicing residential HVAC customers in the nearby area. His vision was to create a service company that nurtured relationships and fostered an open and honest discussion about each client's HVAC needs. There's often more than one way to get a job done on-time and on-budget, Billy would always put in the extra time to make sure this was the case for all of his clients.

Since then the company has grown tenfold and added plumbing to its expertise thanks to a partnership with James "Jimmy" Schachel. You can still find us in Rahway, but now you'll see our trucks across the tri-state area servicing office buildings, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, restaurants, residential homes and more. Our client base has grown through word-of-mouth. We're still working with the same customers who helped us get our start because of great customer service, creativity and loyalty. That loyalty extends to our employees as well. Some here for 30 years, and others for nearly 10.
